Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
The brain-ops.com website is operated by Brain Ops ("we"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or contact us, why, and what your rights are.
What we collect
When you book a call. Booking is done through Google Calendar. When you choose a time, you provide your first and last name and email address, and optionally your company name and an answer to what you would like to improve. These details are kept in Brain Ops' Google Workspace calendar and email.
When you email us. If you write tohello@brain-ops.com, we keep your message and contact details.
When you browse the site. If you agree, the site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used (details in the cookies section). The site does not use advertising cookies. Like any website, the hosting server records technical information (IP address, browser type, time of visit and page viewed) to run and secure the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts and the animation library loads from Cloudflare's cdnjs, so they also receive your IP address and browser details.
Cookies
The site itself does not set cookies. It stores two flags in your browser that are not sent anywhere: your choice about Google Analytics, and a flag for the length of your visit so the logo animation plays once.
Google Analytics. Only if you agree in the notice shown on the site, Google Analytics loads and sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_ with an identifier) for up to two years. It collects information about how the site is used: pages viewed, where you came from, device and browser type, approximate country and city, and actions on the site. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. The data is kept for up to 14 months, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you decline, Google Analytics does not load and its cookies are deleted.
The Google Calendar embedded on the home page may set its own cookies, under Google's cookie policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Why we use it
- To arrange and hold the call.
- To reply to your request and stay in touch, if you want us to.
- To run and protect the site.
We will not send you marketing email without your explicit consent, and we do not sell your information.
Do you have to provide it
There is no legal obligation to give us any information. Without a name and email address we cannot book a call or reply to you.
Who we share it with
We use outside services that process information on our behalf: Google (calendar, email, Google Meet, and Google Analytics if you agreed), Netlify (site hosting) and Cloudflare (delivery of the animation library). Some of their servers are outside Israel. We will share information with anyone else only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as they are needed for the enquiry and any work that follows, and no longer than two years after the last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Security
Information is kept in secured accounts with limited access. No method protects information completely, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard it.
Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, and to have it deleted, subject to the law. Contact us with any question or request athello@brain-ops.com.
Children
The site is intended for businesses, not for children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. A material change, such as adding analytics, will appear here before it takes effect.
